Negotiations with thugs and criminals thriving in the deep forest areas under the cover of nexalism in India. The idea has been mooted by a government agency, The Planning Commission of India. In India, the ruling Congress-lead UPA is only at the helm of affairs in a few states. That is why the government can allow the political expediency to override the sensible functioning such as treating the naxalism as the problem of law and order, to be tackled by the security agencies and not at the political level. Chhatisgarh is one of the state in India which is ruled by the BJP. And the Union Government has now got a stick to reprimand the Chattisgarh government.
